Johnson County Axe Throwing FAQs

Our hours are as follows:

4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tue - Thu

4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri

12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat

We accept walk-ins and you can also call to reserve a time. You will need to have completed a waiver before you begin. You can download a waiver from this website.

We'll get you checked in and then spend some time coaching you in the throwing area to cover safety and help you get proficient with the axe. The rest of your time will be spent on throwing games! 

You must wear close-toed shoes in the throwing area for your safety.

We are now serving beer for those 21 and older. 

Walk-ins: $20 an hour per person

Reservations: $30 a person for 2 hrs. (Must have 8+ people)

With a reservation, you will get a whole lane, 2 targets, and a throwing coach who will teach you how to throw and take you through the games we play.

We are the only location in the area that allows children under the age of 21. Our facility has a 21+ side and kids side. Minimum age to throw is 10 years old.

Reservations are recommended. You can walk in, but you may need to wait until there is space available. 

You can also rent the entire facility if you make reservations in advance. 

Yes. Everyone who throws will need to complete a waiver. We have our waiver form available online so you can complete it and bring it with you to save time. 

Yes, you can schedule parties and corporate events. If you plan ahead, you can also rent the entire facility for a large event.

We are proud members of Axe Throwing Major League.

Not necessarily. After instruction and some practice, you'll probably be able to stick the axe in the target. You may not get a bullseye, but you'll have fun trying!

We will provide instructions for new axe throwers. If you follow the instructions and our rules, the environment will be safe for you.
